ACUNS relies on the work of volunteers to assume leadership roles and manage the organization. ACUNS likewise develops partnerships with universities around the world in order to organize its flagship programs – the Annual Meeting, ACUNS-UN Workshop, and the Global Governance journal. To this end, ACUNS calls on individuals and institutions to nominate themselves or their peers to assume various roles for the organization. These positions offer leadership opportunities for individuals and enhance the prestige of institutional partners. All ensure that ACUNS can fulfill its mission to advance scholarship on the UN system and international affairs.
