When it comes to extreme weather patterns, climate change and preparedness show up at the center of debate. Wednesday’s event, honed in on the question: “What is the state of the art in preparing for extreme weather events?” Well, recent extreme weather like Hurricane Sandy, Tropical Storm Isaac and the earthquake-Tsunami disaster in Japan, tell us that there simply is no room for debate when it comes to importance of preparedness.
