Summary
Assistant Professor, Technology & International Relations

We welcome applications from scholars in any relevant discipline, including international relations, science and technology studies, political science, history, sociology, anthropology, development, and international political economy. We are open to all methodological approaches and regional specializations, but have a particular interest in candidates who incorporate data analytics in the context of social science instruction. Successful candidates would be expected to have completed a Ph.D. by August 15, 2019. The Pardee School of Global Studies is committed to multidisciplinary, policy-relevant research and teaching. Professor of the Practice, Diplomacy 

The successful candidate will have had a distinguished career in the field of diplomacy, whether in national government or international organizations. Career diplomats with ambassadorial experience or practitioners with equivalent experience and stature are encouraged to apply. We are open to any functional or regional areas of expertise. The professor of the practice will teach courses in diplomatic practice as well as her/his areas of expertise and will also advise and mentor students pursuing professional careers in diplomacy, international organizations, or non-governmental organizations. Prior teaching experience and a record of publication and research is not required but will be considered a plus.  Apply Online
