The Friends of ACUNS Book Award, valued at US $1,000, is intended to encourage and help to support outstanding research and writing on the United Nations. The Award will go to the author(s) or editor(s) of the best book that focuses on some aspect of the United Nations and/or the United Nations System. The award is limited to books only: no other type of publication will be considered.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nico Schrijver has been awarded the 2012 Friends of ACUNS book award for his book Development Without Destruction: The UN and Global Resource Management, Indiana University Press, 2010.
