Summary
For students and practitioners everywhere, the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies (University of Leuven) and the Dean Rusk International Law Center (University of Georgia School of Law) are delighted to announce a new opportunity to study international law and global governance. Applications are welcome for a brand-new week ‘Global Governance Summer School’, at the centuries-old University of Leuven, located in a beautiful city a short train ride from Brussels and easily accessible to many European capitals. Students in law and related disciplines, from the United States, Europe, and across the globe, are welcome to enroll.

Through lectures, discussions, and a high-level conference, students will explore global governance – how state, regional, and international legal regimes, plus individuals, corporations, intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations, networks, and other nonstate actors, interact. A range of global challenges will be discussed, such as trade and sustainable development, peace and security, human rights, the rule of law, and democracy.
