Background
I am a lawyer, trained in the German civil law system and with a specialization in public international law. I have work experience in different law related offices of the United Nations Secretariat in New York, USA; Geneva, Switzerland; and Bangui, Central African Republic; and in a wide array of topics such as the law of international organizations, general public international law, international human rights and international humanitarian law. I speak fluent German and English with a working knowledge of French.

Recent ACUNS Activity
I participated in the 2016 ACUNS/ASIL Workshop on international organization studies under the topic of “Supporting State’s implementation of international law” in India and contributed, among other things, a research paper concerning International Criminal Justice and Pillar Two of the “Responsibility to Protect”.
